Good Vibes Hypnosis Training is approved by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) to teach Hypnotherapy and the graduates of this hypnotherapy certification program qualify to become a Certified Hypnotherapist with IACT. The IACT membership includes hypnotherapists, nutritionists, mental health therapists, educators, psychologists, NLP practitioners, clinical social workers, medical practitioners and many others involved in the healing arts.
Hypnotherapy Certification Requirements
The Requirements for Hypnotherapy Certification vary from organization to organization, though there are some common requirements. The IACT Hypnotherapy Certification Requirements consist of a course of instruction that includes a minimum of 220 hours of course instruction. These training hours include classroom instruction, supervised practice, homework, reading assignments, research and internship along with additional approved self directed study.
The Good Vibes Hypnosis Training curriculum meets these requirements and the extensive classroom instruction follows a lecture, demonstration and hands on practice model that has proven to be the most effective way to learn hypnotherapy so that the student learns the art of hypnotherapy in order to earn their Hypnotherapy Certification. The discussions and demonstrations include live presentations by the instructors as well as video case studies by the cream of the crop of Hypnotherapy Certification Trainers of yesterday and today in order to expose the hypnotherapy student to a variety of different hypnotherapy styles and techniques.
As part of the training the students are required to complete a written exam as well as an extensive take home exam, both of which are viewed by the students as more of a learning experience than an examination. The take home exam provides the student with the opportunity to research the questions and add to their knowledge and understanding, thus expanding their skills as they prepare to become a Certified Hypnotherapist with IACT.
